I'm listening to "have i offended someone", properly, for the first time. Question: where did this guy get all this stuff? Is it physically possible to squeeze more double entendres into a pop song than this? And... how offensive is it, really? Some of it is kinda over the limit, unless you use the "irony" excuse...

you're probably right.....but just remember that most of his stuff was written when the establishment had lots more control...I guess it was his way saying mostly what he wanted to at a time when it was'nt allowed.....try "Hot Rats" the title track is the only one with lyrics. Its a superb album that showcases his guitar playing....anyone with tender sensibillities....dont listen!!.....

So you finally met Mr. Zappa
Listen to We're Only In It For The Money -an incredible spoof of hippie culture and Sgt Pepper
also Ruben and the Jets and Live at the Fillmore East
The best part about Zappa was that he was an excellent musician
I remember at one of his concerts I just closed my stoned eyes and listened to the man play Peaches en Regalia -good stuff

Zappa started making music in the 50's !
i saw him on a tv show with an unusual instrument, a bicycle.

I lack the knowledge to answer your question, but Zappa should be an american hero, kids should learn about him in school,
for example he is the only american that was named in a foreign country as minister of culture in the Czech Republic .
