Order t-shirts from a design place that have a design about your family reunion and sell them to you family for $10-15 more than they cost. Depending on how many colors you use the sirts can be pretty cheap like $5 each so then people would only be giving you about $20 and the rest could go to other stuff..... I don't have any other ideas sorry.

Have you heard of Princess House? They sell dinner wear. They have the best hostess pay out and when it comes to fund raisers they offer several plans. If you are going for straight cash I believe you get to keep 60%. Check though because like I said they have several programs. The good thing is that they will have a Representative help you with everything. I raised around $600, very easily. Good luck.

how about get some t-shirts with the family reunion on em name of family and date of reunion and buy em cheap and sell em for over the cost.. everyone will love em and if you get em early then they can wear em to the reunion if it is an informal type of affair.. might be able to get em for like 15.00 and maybe sell em for 25.00 to people going to the reunion,, i am not sure of costs but it is an idea and it is something everyone going might want..

You want to run a fund raiser so you can attend/host a personal event.
Try saving the money yourself, there is no way you should run any sort of fund raising event to cover this sort of cost

AND ON HAVE A RATE FOR ALL MEMBERS, WE DO THIS ITS USUSALLY A PARTY 4 MY MOM SO THE SONS DONATE A AMOUNT THE GRAND CHILDREN ANOTHER , WELL YOU GET THE IDEA, OR JUST DO A CAR WASH!

you could do a bake sale or try to sell those candy bars kids are selling for their schools...they are really yummy.
