I never jumped off a building but I did steal a Bible ..from MOtel 6..put there by the Gideons..they put them there so people will take them and readabout God..(I hope) but I was just asking that question 2 days ago..as for forgiveness, anytime you ask God for forgiveness you are forgiven as long as you are sincere adn want to repent (not do it anymore) of the thing you asked for forgiveness for

First, you have no right to end your life. Only God can do that, why would you go to heaven?

Second, yes, it is a sin to steal a Bible. Whatever it is that you steal, you commit sin. You may consult the Ten Commandments of God.

:)

I am not sure how it works exactly, but I think that's cheating. And I would say that if stealing is a sin, then stealing a bible is most likely up there in the sin catergory

LOL.

If you pray forgiveness before even jumping off, the prayer is invalid because you have not committed a sin yet. In the process of prior hitting the ground, your prayer is also invalid because you have not completed your sin. By the time you reach ground its too late to ask forgiveness.

1. No, unless you have a good reason for jumping off that building. You must value your life, it is a gift from God and shouldn't be taken for granted.
2. Yes. It is a sin to steal anything with value (and I mean both sentimental and monetary value). Seventh Commandment: Thou shalt not steal.

It's a sin to steal anything. Though NO sin is unforgivable. As far as the suicide goes, if that was your plan it's clear you don't really understand what you're asking (such as where forgiveness comes from and why) so my answer would be no.

Either action would be not a good thing to do. I regret that some people feel life is not worth living, I personally believe life is very beautiful and very worth living and we owe it to ourselves to live and be the best we can be.
Stealing is a negative thing and hurts your spiritual growth since it diminishes you as a human.
I don't pass judgements on others, I leave this to religious folks who always refer to books written few thousands of years ago before deciding what is good and what is not.
Perhaps this will help you judge your actions.

Yes, you would be saved if you asked for forgiveness before death. And yes, it's wrong to steal anything, so it's wrong to steal a bible. you should ask to borrow one from someone, or buy your own.
