He has this woolen blanket with which he never plays but can’t go to bed without it. I know it’s great for a dog to have something of that sort to “call his own” so that he’ll always know that “home is where blanket is”. The thing that I am puzzled about is this: When he wants to sleep he takes the blanket and starts sucking it, he even presses it gently with his front paw like, I guess he would do to his mother to get the milk going. This goes on for 15-30 min and than he falls asleep, sometimes with blanket still in his mouth. We got him when he was about a month, he got the blanket when he was 3-4 months, started doing ‘he thing’ as soon as he got it. He is now 1y3moths and is STILL doing it! This sort of relationship he has only with a blanket, although he also has a pillow and a mattress for sleeping. So, not that I mind, but it’s weird, so is it normal? Should I worry?
