Such people have an insufficient understanding of Scripture, and some even believe that Jesus is the same person as Jehovah!
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Actually Jesus is "Jehovah is Salvation" not God is Salvation.
There is a real easy test to determine if Jehovah is a title or a name.
Names can not have "the" added to it.
You can say:
The God
The Ancient of Days
The LORD
So these words are not names but are titles.
But you can not say The Jesus nor The Jehovah.
If the J in Jehovah is wrong, then so is the J in Jesus, Jehu, Jeremiah.
If Jehovah is wrong why is it translated:
Jehova in Spanish, Danish, Finnish, Sotho, German, Ibo, and many more languages
In Italian it's Geova, Japanese it's Ehoba
Why does my college english dictionary say
Jehovah, the name of God in English.
Having said all this, the reason people have placed so much emphasis on Jesus is that they don't know better.
The spokesman for the NIV said that modern translators are held captive by the KJV tradition.
and if their bibles don't agree with the KJV they wouldn't be able to sale their versions.
Jesus is important, He is the only way to Jehovah.

God's actual name is I AM. Yahweh, would be the way that it is pronounced in Hebrew. The letter J, has only been in existance for 500 years, and is not part of the early scriptures. Jehovah is an interpretation of Yahweh, with the added J. Jesus would actually be Yoshua-God Saves or Elohim-God with us.
If you were the only one in the world with your name, why is it necessary to call you by your personal name? There is only ONE God. That is the Living God of Creation. There are many pagan gods, but none of them can create anything, and they, in fact had to be created by man. Please use capital letters when referring to the creator. It is showing a lack of respect when you don't. Furthermore, He didn't GIVE us His personal name to call Him by, Moses had asked Him whom should he say had sent him? Jesus is to be capitalized too, because He is God's Word made Flesh, and therefore, Jesus IS God. Not just God's son. We are all God's sons and daughters, because we were created by Him.
You are you, you are also your word, and you are also your spirit. Yet, you are still you. And so it is with God. Wherever your spirit is, you are there also. Wherever your word is, you are there also. And so it is with God. Jesus was conceived by God's Holy Spirit. This is how Jesus IS God. His mother, Mary, was human though, and this is how He could feel pain, shed blood and die. But He rose again, in 3 days. You can't kill God.

Because that was Yahweh's ultimate plan. Jesus was sent here to be the Savior of the world. He(Yahweh) wanted all to look upon Him and accept Him.

I don't. I realize that Jehovah is the one true God and Jesus is his only begotten son. I pray to Jehovah alone, but always in Jesus' name.
