If the answer comes "NO" u have a bright memory, The only secret about memory is concentration,How do u know that your intelligence level is not high? If u realise those things it seems that u r intelligent enough to lead a good life.

I think the only way to really improve your skills is through good teaching and good learning habits.

Find a tutor to walk you through some of the fundamentals of the subjects you seem to feel insecure about. When you find your comfort zone with a skilled mentor, you will naturally improve your cognitive skills ( your ability to learn).

Finally, just read. Read everything that interests you, and things that make you emotional; sad or happy. The best learning is your ability to understand, retain and utilize the information.

By eating a lot of oily fish. Oily fish is high in omega 3 fatty acids which form the majority of the fat with which the brain is made up of. These fats help the brain to develop.

Another thing which you can do is some form of physical exercise. I once read in a health mag that physical exercise helps form more synapses between brain cells which help with increasing the brains awareness etc.
