i believe that ghosts do exist.well i am personally very much interested in learning about the existence of ghosts.i know its scary and no one would dare to invite troubles in their life knowingly.so i would never opt to go to such a haunted place
i believe that if one has strong faith in god then he/she can easily face and defeat ghosts.but first i feel that each one of us have to defeat the ghostly qualities that exists within each one of us.

It has been neither been proven nor disproven. I have an open mind on the matter as I do with most things that have yet to be answered. And as far as faith goes Im Agnostic but would be wary of a haunted house purely because of the socilally contructed images that I have in my mind. If one was truly seeking ghosts I may consider seeking them in a less stereotypical location.

Yes my faith denies the existence of ghost and no I will not stay a night that people think is haunted. My faith doesn't deny the existence of evil spirits or demons, that can mimic dead people. I would be crazy to put myself in a position where demons are.

I am an atheist. And i think people just misinterpret normal brain functions as them seeing ghosts. Lucid dreaming for instance. Almost all supposed ghost sightings happen when people are in a state of waking up or just having gone to bed and there is all kinds of neurophenomenon going on when that happens.
Other supposed sightings are simply people with big imaginations and/or looking for attention...here is a link to Penn and Teller's BS episode on ghosts.

I don't believe in ghosts...still I would be unhappy to live in a house that say used to be a funeral home or something...it would still play on my mind and bring me down or have a heaviness because of it I think.
I would stay in a supposedly haunted house overnight or for a time without a care.

people are too afraid they'll seem like nutters if they admit believing in ghosts. without sharing my beliefs, let me just say i used to work in a known haunted place in my hometown. whether they believe them or not, most people there have heard all the stories about it.

I have seen spirits and recently when I was hospitalized, I really had to turn this off. I simply didn't want anyone to follow me home. Most haunted place in any nieghborhood---local hospital or morgue. Some just don't shut up.

I don't have faith, I have rational thought. I think most people avoid places like that, because if there was a homicidal maniac out there, and he was looking for a place to hide out, it would be in one of those "haunted" places, because ....Who in their right mind would hang out there?

What? I'm a Christian and I believe in ghosts! I have seen a few in my time also. I was raised in a house that was haunted.
