Well, that all depends on how you look at it. From a growth standpoint, no, you are growing and getting bigger and getting healthier, but if you take into consideration that at some point in your future, you will die, then yes. As soon as you are born, you begin to die. For some people it takes 90 years, for others, maybe only 50 or 60, but you will die.

This is more of a "Is the glass half empty or is the glass half full" kind of question.

Not bogus at all, your skin cells start to harden and flake the instant they come in contact with air,and you begin the aging process, which in turn leads to the dying process

Everyone eventually dies. Since it's inevitible, you are always moving towards your death. When you are "dying" you aren't dead, and there's no possible way to define when you are actually going to die, I could be perfectly healthy and have an aneurism, or I could have cancer and the doctor tells me I have 6 months to live and I live for 4 years, so it can only mean moving towards your death. Kind of an innaccurate word, but yes, you are dying right now.

Given a large enough population, death will occur to one or more people of every age ever day.

So yes, to live is to die a little every day. It's what you do with the days you have that make the difference.

you can quote me on this as it is how I view life itself..."The only thing in life that is certain is death."
The only question is how and when?
as others have said everyday that passes is one day closer to death...so yes as soon as your born it is inevitable that you will die.
