The available evidence would suggest that Jesus didn't actually visit England, whatever William Blake's fantasies may have suggested :-)

He had a rather bizarre belief that all the religions of the world were founded from that of the ancient British druids.

I've always found it rather strange that that poem has become one of England's favorite patriotic songs... I much prefer "Tiger, tiger, burning bright... ". Not very patriotic though. :-)

The line is from the poem/ hymn `Jerusalem` by William Blake.

Jerusalem

Written by William Blake

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green
And was the holy lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen

And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills
And was Jerusalem builded there
Among those dark Satanic mills

Bring me my bow of burning gold
Bring me my arrows of desire
Bring me my spears o'clouds unfold
Bring me my chariot of fire

I will not cease from mental fight
Nor shall my (my) sword sleep in hand
'Til we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land
'Til we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land

Not too far from present day Carnaby Street in London stood the house where William Blake lived when he supposedly saw a vision of Christ...today there is a coffee bar on the spot...I sat there once as I am enthusiastic about William Blake's paintings... however I felt no special aura about the place.
