As a Christan Firefighter, it effected me and my friends who are firefighters intensely. Everyday, family guys risks their lives for our world, our children, our communities, and never really think about the danger. It is part of our professions daily lives.

I hug my wife more often, I tell my five children that I love them each day before I leave them, I pray sincerely from my heart to Jesus Christ and thank Him for my Catholic faith, my family, my community, my life, my country, my world.

I am not as threatened by others hostility because I realize the Jesus Christ is in control, not thugs, not terrorist, not fanatics. I admire my fellow professional firefighters intensely for what they do as matter of fact each and every day! I grew in love for my deceased father who himself was an unsung hero in the fire service. I never gave him his due. Now, each day I pray for him.

I remember the innocent victims who were slaughtered, their sacrifice that morning. I remember the love that healed the hatred on 9-12-01 and continues too this day.

It made me wake up and take note of what was happening in the world, made me look at other people, their beliefs, their politics and choices in life. I actually have sympathy for the muslim community as after this event they have been ridiculed, de-meaned, and feared by non-muslims. I myself have taken the opposite view, I educated myself in their ways, their beliefs and I find them rather nice people. Morally though I have became more tolerant as I opened up my eyes, many people have yet to do this!

I live in Australia and I'm not alone we were and still shocked, horrified and angry that this kind of thing could still happen in this day and age. I say let the terrorist know we will not stand for this, Australians, Americans or any one else. This must stop and be punished!

9/11 was a tragic incident in which innocent people died but it was a drama directed by Bush and starred Ladin to Label every Muslim as terrorist for no reason and it succeeded. I think they deserve an Oscar for that but I hate them both.
What 9/11 brought change in me is that it made me in fact every Muslim more religious. It made us better interpret our religion.

I changed from being a person who was feeling continually hurt and threatened by people within the same cage as me to feeling threatened from outside the cage as well (I have a very sensitive nervous system)

Altho I dont live in America, it changed me in a not-so-good way. Made me trust people around me a lot less. Made me realise hate is still a very powerful emotion which can drive people to do insanely ridiculous and inhuman things.

You know what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first I was really shaken by it, then I felt like maybe America do need this to humble down. Then, I learnt about the news that this might be staged BY THE US GOVERNMENT!!!!, and I, like many others, are really shocked and disgusted. Bloody politicians, it's just so hard to believe the news. The media is the only source we can get, yet it is so unreliable.

I feel the pain to all the victim's families.

It solidified for me what I have known in my heart for years: religion - be it Islam, Christianity, or any other - is the single most destructive force on the planet. Period.

Apocalyptic religions want the apocalypse and they will "bring it on" any way they can. The rest of us be damned, literally.
