Hello!! :o) I hope you're OK. The word 'praise' is a verb. It's an action word like 'jump' or 'walk' or 'talk'. To 'praise' is to DO something. I'm often amused by some 'religious Christians' who will end their TV or radio show by repeating 'Praise the Lord' up to ten times. And I often think to myself, "Well... get on with it then!!" If you were to praise your kid - let's say - would you say, "I praise you Johnny!!" OR would you say something like, "You did that really well, Johnny!!" OR "You're a good boy, Johnny!!" See what I'm getting at?! To actually 'Praise the Lord' - you would have to SAY something like, "God - you are wonderful!!" OR "God you are GREAT!!" [And so on] If you agree - that's nice!! IF you don't - please let me know why you don't. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

If a person is saying anything they are doing an action. Talking is an action. Saying praise the Lord while thinking God is great is indeed a valid form of praise. There are plenty of things christians do wrong. No need to invent stuff. Doing this only makes a christian see the irrationality of their accusers. If you want to make a differance read their Holy book and see where they are in error. As a group they are heavy into error and I think if you point out where they are off base scripturally they might listen and change. I hope. Anyway if they were practicing Biblical standards you would not have a problem with them. Well not any real ones. This one I guess you could still use but why would you, that is a good quetion.

I think it is the *intent* behind the words that is important in this case. God knows the hearts of his people... and that is what matters.
