Jesus had a human body, but He was still God.
God cannot die, but His Word was made flesh, and therefore, as flesh, Jesus was able to shed blood and die for our sins. Because God can not die, He rose in 3 days as He said, and He assended to heaven. Jesus IS God, and He lives forever.
Look at it this way. You are you. You are also your word. You are also your spirit. Yet you are still the one YOU. And so it is with God.
God was no more separate from His word, than you are. Or His Holy Spirit either.
Jesus Is God's Word made flesh. Because He was born of a human virgin, Mary, He had the form of Man. And you are correct. To look upon God's face, you would die, and to hear His voice, without His word, would make your heart explode. God's word speaks in all languages, to all people that listen.

There are three distinct parts to the God head, which is called the "Trinity".
God - the Father
God - the son - Jesus
God - the spirit - Holy Spirit
Since they are distinct, God the Father is in heaven, He sent His son, Jesus, to fulfill His purpose and die for our sins on the cross. He then rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven.
We Christians, once we have accepted Christ as our Savior, receive the Holy Spirit to be with us, since Jesus ascended to Heaven and told us he would send a helper to us.
If you think of an egg, an example that I think explains the Trinity. The egg is whole, but with three very different, distinct parts:
The shell
the white of the egg
the yolk of the egg.

I guess Jesus didn't actually die. He just sacrifised himself to save the humanity. To teach them how to love and respect. He's immortal, the other face of the god. They're the same person and different existences at the same time. It's like the God sent one part of himself to the Earth in the body of a mortal human to guide the people.

According to Christian belief, God became man through Jesus and Jesus had to die to atone the sins of the world.
Since Jesus was a man, he died and rose 3 days later.

Jesus died for our sins! yet at the third day, he resurrected, saty a few days on earth, then on top of a cloud, he rose to heaven. Have you tought if your name is going to be in the book of life, or the other book?? Where they'll go to hell, smell of burmt flesh!!

Because we are the LIFE of the body,Spirit, the body is just a space suit we use in this alien space inviornment. we are beings of light,pure unconditional LOVE. The sense of self apart from GOD "dies when it merges back into the allness of GOD".
