That people will somehow be rewarded for coming into the country illegally. Everyone else had to come here legally. What's fair is fair. It doesn't matter what ethnic background we're talking about either. It should be across the board!

Besides the illegeal way in which they enter the country. The underlining message is that inspite of how hard people work, they will be paid wages that are not sufficient enough to provide for a family. And what about the African Americans that are from this country and can't seem to find jobs. It's not because the jobs are not availabe, it is because people rather pay these people unfair wages, which always leave African Americans at a disadvantage. When you factor in the educational, argument, there are so many barriers put in place that prevents or drastically hinder a disadvantage African American that wants to further their education the ability to do so. If the mexicans are so strong, they need to fight address their issues in their own country, and stop putting the burden on the United States. I feel like the United States is in no postion to so-call help other people when you have people within the United States that are suffering. Take care of home first, and then try to help everyone else. They come to this country taking jobs that RIGHTFULLY belong to the citizens who were BORN in this country. And for anyone who thinks about trying to bring up the argument of "BLACKS HAVING CRIMINAL BACKGROUNDS" when ever ANYONE is released from jail EVERYONE deserves to have the opportunity to get their life back in order. And preventing people from working is the dumbest thing anyone can do. But this barrier is put into place to ensure that ex offenders repeat their crime and the state to make money off the disadvantage person. But that is a different topic in it's entirety. Basically put, they need to stay in their own country and take their issues up with their government. The United States need to take care of the legal natives first. I feel very strongly about this topic so I think I'll stop now.

The immediate distraction to the Mexican border after 9-11 when they did not close up the Canadian borders nor the student visas.

The dishonesty it is all about the money. They charge spouses the most then deny it then say start it all over then deny it..then immigration approves lots of visas for students who are working here and never completed the processes that were put in after 9-11 and they approve TPS visas for Honduras and El Salvador after it expired in 1989. Then they send all these people to the border for border patrol to get extra money for it from the government saying it is about terrorism when terrorists never came here from Mexico. Then the border patrol itself waves illegals in whom I know of when they are not suppose to be coming in when they cross the border illegally. Then the border patrol itself is carrying people accross on our tax dollars in a Border patrol van for 400 dollars a person. I have heard about it many times.
It is all a scam and dishonest.

Well I agree that it isn't fair that they can get into the country illegally. I mean others have had to go through lots of things just to be allowed in the United States and they are just coming in when they feel like it. It isn't about race or ethnicity it is about the laws of this country. If you sneak into this country you aren't respecting its laws and you shouldn't be here. Also these illegal immigrants are taking away jobs from people who either came into this country legally or who were born here and that isn't fair either. Again they should have to observe the laws of this country.

The fact that illegals start collecting public assistance immediately, despite being nondeserving and never having paid a dime into it. I find it amazing that a collective group of people can be so skilled at beating the system and subverting laws, yet can't be bothered to even ATTEMPT learning English.

I think, for the majority of people, immigration issues have nothing to do with race or racism. Most individuals have legitimate reasons for not wanting immigrants, legal or not, coming to live here.

It is my opinion that if you are going to come here to better yourself and advance in your career that this is a positive and just reason to immigrate. HOWEVER if you immigrate here with the excuse (and lets face it, it is an excuse) that you are coming here because your family is starving...it is not positive. I see nothing positive about coming here illegally, taking advantage of our money, raising crime and trashing our streets. They are looking for something new, I will give them that, but they are not looking to becoming a prosperous individual in our society.

To me its the blatant disregard for our nations laws, and the involvement of radical Marxist groups like La Raza and their continuing theme of hostile take over of the American southwest..That fact alone is enough to raise my hackles and put me on the defensive,as it should any thinking American.I am not concerned with the race of the illegal as much as I am with their intent..Yes in my city and state they are an economic hardship. The rise in crime, the pressure put on all public programs is tremendous and very one sided. Its costing AZ a fortune for this "cheap" labor. Its time to end this unworkable alliance.NO amnesty...American jobs are for Americans.

Language. They have NO initiative or desire to LEARN the ENGLISH LANGUAGE ON THEIR OWN!

Schools ALL have to have ESL - English as a Second Language classes.

NON Spanish speaking students MUST take YEARS of Spanish. What do the Spanish speaking have to take? NOTHING.

They aren't FORCED to take another language they don't know. German, French, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Chinese etc.

If you want to legally or illegally live, work, go to school, receive assistance in AMERICA learn the ENGLISH LANGUAGE first! Do not waste OUR money or time teaching you!

The fact that they are illegal immigrants who aren't law abiding citizens. the illegal immigrants have made it hard to find a decent paying job..and the pro-illegals will hire them to keep from paying out a decent wage..The fact that they steal ssn's is horrifying. I don't want to see 30 illegal Mexicans sleeping in a house made for a family of 4 and the chickens that run loose in their house and yard, down the street from my house. who knows what deceases they carry..They live off of welfare and get under the table jobs and get housing all off of a stolen ssn's..
