Let me first tell you I am a Christian. I have a strong faith in God. I believe in all three listed above!! The similarities between the creation and evolution are too similar to not think it was a coincidence. The Intelligent design theory argues that something must have created us due to such complex organs as the eye. These "theories" all offer explanations to a truth we will never know!! So why can't all three forms exist as theories? I understand the fear that exist from all sides that having another understanding being taught, but I feel in the contemporary setting, we should be able to make well informed decisions after we realize the information presented. To not offer that information is the greatest sin of all...We need to provide people with all the options, and let them decide. It is my belief that God will hold them accountable too what ever was in their heart, not what they got graded on in school!!
Sound off!!

As a Christian, Its a sin to beleive a theory that contradicts the bible. As for as ID...well they lean more towerds us being created by aliens then The GOD of the Bible. But if you can find theorys that can co aside the Bible..it just supports the truth in the bible. Its My Christian theory that ID will be the One World Religion after the Holy Rapture. The Aliens ( Fallen Angels or Sons og God ) will handle that once they get the green light ( the rapture ) ID is Satans Deception, Until Schools are Teaching Biblical scripture......Its Un-Holy, ID is not biblical.

creationism and id are not scientific theories, they cannot make testable and verifiable predictions:evolution can. evolutionary theory predicted a DNA like mechanism and just recently evolution theory predicted that an intermediate type of fish/tetrapod would be found at a certain time in the past. scientist looked for the type of geology from that time and found it in Canada, lo and behold they found the fossil. creationism and id cannot do this. if you don't believe me go to, www.newscientist.com/channel/life/evolution
I'm sure they can co-exist as long as we run our societies on facts not opinions.

well firstly intelligent deisgn is creationism with a new paint job. theres no difference.

from what i see there are not similiarities between creationsim and evolution. if you could give me some id love to hear them.

just so youknow the evolution of the eye has been figured out, its not really a tool that creationsits can use anymore. the complexity behind it has been figured out.

both theories cant coexist. my opinion of course. one theory (evolution) rules out the existence of a god. so just right there, 2 seconds in, weve already hit a hurdle.

I think they're mutually exclusive...but whatever. It's not like belief in evolution/creation/ID is going to have a huge impact on your daily life etc... I don't see what the fuss is all about.

Two are based on faith, the other on science. While I respect your right to believe whatever you want to believe, evolution is not belief, it is knowledge.

Jesus said, "Render up to Caeser what is Caeser's, and render up to God what is God's."

Let knowledge reign on earth, and whatever happens after this life happen there.

I am Wiccan and Christian....and if these two can co-exist for me, so can this for you. Remember, the bible isn't an exact science. Evolution isn't an exact science. So, here in lies the problem. My opinion is, if it works for you, thats fine. Blessed Be.
