Annihilation of the self could mean destruction of ones false self, false identity or ego. Once the false identity is gone, one can realize he or her true identity of being a pure soul...

Purification of the false identity is not an easy process and must be overseen with the guidance of a spiritual teacher/master.

No. Death is just part of life. Death is opposite of birth. Both birth and death is life. The self is life.

death is the cessation of your breath and that is time when your soul separate from your body and the spirit will be taken by god somewhere else to ; wait for the final judgement whether you will go to hell or heaven

No. Becaus annihalation is the improper word to use.
To die is to simply cease existing.

To Anniahlate is to utterly destroy. Death itself isn't destruction.

nah not really if that happens then where do ghost come from. i believe we just leave this plain of existance and move to a different one.
