If you could choose 5 comic book super-heros to be on one cool super team, who would they be. Pick almost any five heros, and your reasoning. The only rules are these-1)Superman cannot be on your team...hes too powerful. 2)The five you pick must have one for each of these five catogories:A leader, A wiseman/woman, A Brute Strength, A Hotshot,and a person who is phyisically weak, but strong in mental powers(ex.Prof. X, Jean Grey, INvisible Woman). 3)Heros can be choosen from both the DC and Marvel worlds. well lets see eliminating superman doesn't eliminate the Too Powerful characters really... the perfect superhero team would have to be
Leader: Havok: He can vaporize any "non-god" character with his powers when he's angry adn the "wise Woman" on the team just happens to be able to control emotions among other things
Wise Woman: Phoenix- super powerful super strong and omnicient.... how can you go wrong
Brute strength) eliminating jugernaught and wendigo because they are overused, i'd have to go with DarkSeid- easily can stand blow to blow with superman and not even flinch along with his seemingly infinitestrenght and intelligence he's a must have.
A hot shot) Spider man in his captain universe costume. easily a good pick he's agile cocky intelligent and when he dons his captain universe costume hes virtually impervious to everything. hulk could punch him and he wouldn't flinch.
And finally A low str high Int) Korvak... although he has no physical strength at all, he can vaporize the universe with his mind alone. he has complete control over cosmic power and in one What if comic he took down Phoenix without even batting an eye.
See you really don't need superman to make a completely unstoppable force. with just korvak on my team u can't win.

My team works out like this:
1- Leader: Captain America. He's a living symbol and strategic mastermind. Plus he's led the Avengers, and they're like a dysfuntional Justice League.
2- Wiseman: Batman. He has a contigency plan for everything. If you need a plan he's the man.
3- Brute Strength: Captain Marvel. This one is cheating a little... Captain Marvel is the most overlooked hero of DC. He is likely Superman's match in every catagory and his powers are magical, making him a threat to even Supes.
4- Hotshot: Patriot. The grandson of the original supersoldier program, the Black Captain America. He is always trying to show he deserves to be a hero, going as far as taking MGH to give him powers when he had none.
5- Physically Weak: Cersi. She may not have super strength but the ability to effect emotions and people makes her a great seceret weapon!
Bring on the villians, The Avenger's League of Justice has arrived!

my team would be
the leader would be Captain America because he has been the leader off and on with the Avengers for years, his experience and military history.
for brute strength Rogue. she combines with strength, smarts, skills, and her absorption powers.
for hotshot it would have to be the Superboy (Conner Kent from the Teen Titans) thinks he is so cool.
and for physically weak but strong in mental powers Oracle. she is i believe in the same league as batman because he trained her and now that she is wheel chaired bond because of the Joker her network and detective skills are kick @$$.
