I have a question for you. Did you ever notice that when people talk about their supposed "former lives," that they were always somebody famous? Did you ever notice that?
Consider that the vast, vast, vast majority of people who ever lived on this planet lived simple, uneventful, and totally boring lives. But when's the last time you heard someone say, "in my previous life I was a peasant in India who died when I was 35;" or, something like that. Instead, every time you hear this stuff, it's always, "I was Jesus' brother; " or, "I was Lady in Waiting to Marie Antoinette;" or, "I was the chief architect of the pyramids in ancient Egypt."
Do you think maybe there's just a bit of vanity and wish-fulfillment in all of this?
I don't think you're crazy; but I think you'd like it to be true; and I also think that the mind can conjure up all kinds of nonsense to help us live our fantasies.

You ought to do research on Buddhism, which has all your answers that Christianity cannot answer, no offense to Christians. Becuase it is more than a religion, it offers you answers that you can experiment and verify, bascially, Buddhist do not believe in a beginning nor ending, and do not accept ( although we do no criticise) the existance of an almighty God that created the world, becuase you can never answer, who created god? We have more than 1 life, as opposed to a single life theory. There are many proofs available if you do enough research. I have seen my past and all coincided with history. email me and I can share more with you. I deal in regression therapy. If you are able to keep an open mind, you will find the real truth. You'll change once you find out you indeed have previous lives. Ponder, why shouldn't there be previous lives? Cause and Effect!

There is no way of verifying one way or another, from what you say.
The more important question is whether this is factual or not will affect your life to be a kinder, more compassionate, loving and wise human being right here and right now? Will it increase your pride and conceit?
I suspect that in itself it will have no effect. I would advise that you remember what's really important in either case.

If this person believes in Jesus, then he's talking rot.
There is NO such thing as previous lives. We only live once. You are not crazy but you may be troubled by spirits. Please steer clear of spiritism and the occult, it does greater damage than you can imagine.

Gnaw, but for your own piece of mind, see a hypnotist who will do a past life regression on you. You just might surprise yourself at what you may learn. Blessed Be.

It's more important for you to focus on your current life. What's past is past.
