I met this guy a few years ago when I was say...24 - yea 24. Yea cause I am 28 now so that is right. He told me he was 34 and that was a stretch for me. He had this amazing personality, was a physical therapist and looked 34 or maybe even younger - good shape, etc (he used to play for the Mets) So - I never even thought about his age before he mentioned it and asked how old I was -
We just hit it off right away. So.. I think it was at the end of that night or maybe even our first date that he said - oh did I say I was 34? Flip those numbers...I am 43. I was like - come on -- stop... and he was serious.
I was already reaching when I knew he was 10 years old but then when I found out he was 43 it was too late for me to not like him based on his age... I already did.
So - yes that is possible cause...well....it happened again & again & again... We were together for well over a year or so and had a really good relationship, amazing sex and we just fit well together (everywhere - hee hee) I have always seemed to end up with guys at least 2 or 4 years older than me so - what's 16 more - haha.
I don't regret it - it was not weird. I was not looking for some father figure - me and my dad have an excellent relationship so that wasn't it for me like they say causes some girls to date men that much older. I just looked at how well we got along - and that worked so why bother with the age.. If I had known beforehand I don't think it would have mattered anyways.. I was attracted to him from the start physically and mentally so I would have wanted to be with him - get into a relationship at some point if it worked out. I have always been pretty mature for my age (though some of my answers would say differently I am sure) so we were really on the same level.
We both had fun but didn't last in the end - I was a little too crazy for him at that point in my life...I exhausted the poor man half of the time.. :o) So - eventually age (I think) did come into play. Great experience though -

Depends on the gender:
Its common - 40 yr males sleeping with 20 yr females, or even marrying them.
Other way around is possible, but the age-gap closes in,,, if u talking of 'sleeping around' literally, then u can widen the age gap, but not more than 5 yrs.. with a limit of 45 (female)
thats the sleeping around phenomena -- the wierd age ones are called Senior Hoo**rs

Why does age matter if there is an attraction and compatibility? My husband is 15 years older than i am and I think he's hotter than he!!. :)

Yes if you are attracted to each other. and if it felt right. i have had a boyfriend 16 years older than myself...mind you i was 19 then,lol. but i suppose it would help if he looked Young,lol
