Jesus, God made flesh, lowered Himself to come to earth and show us that it is possible to live a sinless life as a human with God's guidance and he came to bear all of our sins for us through repentance. Once this is accomplished, He is again raised to the superior position which is rightfully His.

God the Father is Spirit and His Spirit is the Word and the Word became Flesh "CHRIST" and dwelt among us. He came unto his own and His own comprehended him not. His apostles brought His message to the gentiles once the fullness of the gentiles Father foreknew come to HIM..GOD…Father will restore again the Jews .
He took the death sentence for all sinners in the world, He himself is without sin.
Jesus Raised Himself from the dead because He is God and He will never die again. Father has given all authority in heaven on earth and down below to His Son Jesus the Christ because the Son is Himself and is the Temple than cannot be destroyed Whom God Father the Almighty i.e. the Holy Spirit and creator of all creation, Himself dwells within. Thus Jesus is the expressed image of the invisible God. The King of the JEWS.

The context shows that it is in comparison with his life as a man, Phil 2:7.
But does this prove the trinity?
No, 1 Cor 15:27, 28, tells us that when all knees should bend to Jesus (Phil 2:8) it is with the exception of the One who subjected all things. (meaning Jehovah), next Jesus will hand over everything to his Father, so that Jehovah will be all things to everyone.
John 20:5, 22 tells us that Jesus gives his brothers the "glory" he had prior to coming to the earth so that this brothers can be one with God.
Since we will never be equal to God, How can we be one with God? in that everything we do will be in harmony with his will, just as Jesus has and will continue to do.
Jesus and Jehovah's Firstborn Son brought honor to God, We can to.
*** rs p. 406 par. 1 Trinity ***
In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: “Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching.”—(1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.
(Romans 15:5,6) . . .” 5 Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, 6 that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is one of the trinity. The oldest Soul is known as the Father, Jesus is referred to as the Son. The oldest Soul, the father, was referred to as God by Jesus. Jesus was not almighty.

Jesus left his Godly Deity in order to become a human like all of us & he was given the title "Kurios" (Greek for Lord or master) by God because of his obedience even to the point of death. Can you imagine yourself knowing your fate before hand & yet you still obey to go through & suffer the most humiliating death of all...And now Christ seats at the right hand of God as the Son of God.

Cos Jesus is not God.
He is human as the rest of us.
The difference is he is a God messenger, one of the great among all of them.
