I have been a widow since last year, and I am wondering if it is normal to want to held by a man. My kids are not keen on the idea of me being with another man, but I am really lonely and lost. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

yup it is normal for you to long for a man but you really need to discuss it with your children. yes it is your need but they should be a part of your decision making. you have to take into consideration that they are still grieving for the loss of their father. they need you now in their lives more than ever. u have to understand that they have their own fears once you find another man.

you have to talk to them and let them understand your situation also. you have to constantly reassure them that your love for them will never change even if you're invloved with another man.

ask their opinions regarding the man that you will meet. bring him at home to meet your children for you to be able to know whether they relate well with each other.

an unsolicted advice: your children should always come first before any man you'll be involved with. indeed you 're in a difficult situation but i know that you can handle things.

good luck to you!!!

Morally speaking, since you are a widow, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be with another man. Afterall, we are created with needs. However, be careful that you are doing it for the right reasons. Maybe start out with making some friends first. Take it slow, don't rush, afterall, you'd want your kids to be able to accept things too.

It is normal for you to want to have male companionship. I understand that your kids do not want to see you with another man. What you need to do if you want to re-enter the dating game is not tell your kids you are dating other men. Just tell them you are going out. Don't introduce men to your kids until you found the one you want to be with on a steady basis.

Your kids still miss their father and you have to respect that, but mama gets lonely too.

Explain to your kids that your husband would want u to be happy, and your not happy being single. Assure them that you will always love their father even though he's gone. It is natural for you to want the company of the opposite sex, i say you should give it a try..Good Luck!!

Sorry for your loss! Start seeing someone but be very discreet, you deserve to be happy again. Its normal and not wrong at all. But think of your children and the trauma that they've been trough. Once again, be discreet.
