Maybe the service doesn't start until later, or they prefer to go to Evensong.

I can't answer for anybody else, but for me my Christianity is 24/7, not just an hour on Sunday. Church attendence is only one part of Christianity; in my view living every day as a Christian is what matters.

I'm not a Christian, so this doesn't affect me in the least, but haven't you thought that in different parts of the world, it's a different time of the day now? For some people it's still Saturday, and for others, it's Sunday evening...

Christians are not required to go to church. Worship is a lifestyle, therefore, you can worship God in any place and in any time and in any manner you choose. God is a personal God. He's not just present only in church on Sundays. He's called Emmanuel meaning, God is with us; not in the church on Sundays.

Christians may have all sorts of reasons for not being at church. Depression is one of them. Social phobia another. Christians are not exempt from these problems. They may also have issues with what churches teach and preach

BECAUSE THEY ARE CHILLING OUT AT HOME IN THEIR PJ'S HAVING FAMILY TIME. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO CHURCH TO BE A CHRISTIAN. IT IS LOVELY TO HEAR THE BELLS RING. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT SO MANY PEOPLE DON'T GO TO CHURCH ON A SUNDAY ANYMORE, IT THINK IT'S BECAUSE WE ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY ANYMORE AND PEOPLE USE THE WEEKEND ESPECIALLY SUNDAY FOR SPENDING WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND CATCHING UP WITH FRIENDS. HAVING BEEN BROUGHT UP GOING TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY THROUGHOUT ALL MY CHILDHOOD DAYS I FIND IT ACCEPTABLE FOR FAMILIES TO MISS OUT ON CHURCH AND SPEND QUALITY TIME AT HOME. IT'S THE SIGN OF THE TIMES!

half the people who claim to be christian aren't. hebrews 10:25 says 'not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.' make your own assumptions about that
