there is nothing wrong with solitude. that kid will probably know himself better than most of the kids when he grows up.

there's nothing wrong about playing alone. lots of kids that age have reasons to play alone like that, i know I did sometimes. Lots of people just like to get lost in the worlds they think up in there mind, and also to just escape the real world sometimes. Yet you should at lest try to know whats going on. Just because he's 7 doesn't mean that he cant feel any pain, or any other emotion like that, but all you can really do is watch him and see what he is doing when he plays by himself or even with other kids

As long as he does take time to play with other kids...he might just be very imaginative...what does he play when he is alone? Does he color,,..write? or does he just sit there? ...I am sure he is fine...there may come a time when you wish he was that quiet lol..like in about seven more years.
