Can you really get pulled over for biking under the influence? I did not know that.
If you are drunk then they can certainly ask to make sure you are 21. If you aren't then you and the person who gave you alcohol will both be arrested.

Yep they can arrest you for biking under the influence. In Illinois you can get arrested for riding a horse under the influence.

Biking under the influence? I never heard of such a thing. Perhaps he confronted you for being intoxicated in public (drunk and disorderly, maybe?).
What was the outcome? Did they haul you in? Or did they just let you go?

Any time an officer asks for an I D you HAVE to provide it. Even if you're walking down the street, minding your own business and one asks for it, you have to hand it over.
How was he to know you were or weren't 21+ if you didn't show an I D?

You're required to show ID whenever a cop asks for it.

Hmmm I would have no Idea, if you had been drinking the officer probably needs to verify that you are of drinking age..
