It's a natural process. There's very little that you can actually do to speed it up.
P.S. Get platform shoes and spike your hair?

It's simple man! Just gain as much knowledge as you can about the field of genetics and of course the technological tools used in it's study ( you have six months, that should be enough time). Then, after you have learned all there is about genetics, build yourself a time machine! Travel back about 50, 60, perhaps 70 years and contact the worlds leading scientific minds. Show them all the information you had gathered, all the while convincing them that you're a sane, rational human being. Simply return to the present time. At that point the world might have a solution to this unhealthy problem of yours. But, if you're still looking for an easier way; there is a somewhat trendy procedure that is gaining in popularity, at least in Asia or some small island in east/southeast pacific and i believe there are a few doctors in the states who perform this procedure. It involves attaching steel rods at the ends of the bone to be stretched, then they brake the bone and extend the rods several millimeters. After the bone has healed, you repeat the process a reasonable amount of times. Through this procedure a lengthening of two and-a-half to three inches is not uncommon. In the end i hope you discover that your value as a person is not measured in inches.

Just have a diet that consists of different foods from the food pyramid to get the full daily nutrition needed for your body. Any exercises such as running, jumping, and stretching may help you grow. HOWEVER, they probably won't help you grow 3 inches in 6 months unless you have not had your growth spurt yet. So don't be too optimistic about it, because it most likely won't happen if your growth spurt is already over.

First of all, if you have good nutrition you will still only grow to the height you were meant to, exercise will improve your posture, but not make you taller.
I'm a shortie, but I learned a trick from super-models: Posture:
Imagine that there are strings coming out of your shoulders and the top of your head and that they are being gently pulled up by an invisible force. If you stand straight and lift yourself from your shoulders, you will automatically look a few inches taller.
If you practice this enough it will become second nature.

Neither exercise or diet will make you grow taller. Of course, you want to be eating a healthy diet anyway. Height is affected by your genes. Being shorter or taller than others your age means nothing about your intellect, personality, or manhood. Accept yourself the way you are.

Best of luck with that. You're 17, you will grow more naturally unless you're just short by nature. But I don't know anyway to force a growth spurt. Rest assured you have at least one more in your future before age 23.

Eat whatever you like, stop exercizing, sleep more, waster your time on the internet, stop worrying about your height, and listen to death metal/black metal musick. After that your height might not increase, but you surely wont give adamn about height. Ride on \m/.
