Well, I believe the tree was there because God wanted to test their faith. Remember like how the devil tricked Jesus? I know it's not exactly the same but the Bible talks about tricks and tests. It's been awhile since I've read any of those stories so I don't remember exactly. As for if it were Adam or Eve's fault, that's tough. Because Eve tempted Adam but Adam was weak. I don't know!! LOL

It was God's fault. God has foreknowledge. God knew that Eve would eat the fruit before she even did.
If God is all knowing then he had to have known that by placing the tree in the garden that the majority of people who have ever lived would be eternally tortured. Yet he choose to put the tree there anyways.
Even if God isn't all knowing and doesn't have a plan then sending people to hell for something Eve did wrong would be no different than someone knocking on your door right now and saying you are going to jail for something your great, great , great....grandfather did.
Christianity is completely absurd.
"The very concept of sin comes from the bible. Christianity offers to solve a problem of its own making! Would you be thankful to a person who cut you with a knife in order to sell you a bandage?" - Dan Barker (former preacher)

If I am to blame I will blame both of them. Why? Eve was to reject the devil and obey what God told them, also Adam was to reject what Eve brought. None of them obeyed, you see that while Eve is pointing fingers to the snake, Adam is pointing fingers to Eve and God. So all of them sinned.Whether you believe that the tree was there or not, I do believe that what the word of God is saying is true.
Finally the fall of man was because Adam and Eve sinned, but God sent a solution that many are refusing today and I am very sorry for those of you who reject the gospel.

Actually, in the bible, the fall of man, was due to consumption, of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. Forbidden to do so, Eve was tempted by the serpent, and told what it would do....open their eyes, so on and so forth.
Thing I enjoy, is they never say how long Adam and Eve lived in peace with God, or to that fact, what went on outside of Eden. Dinosaurs? Aliens? Take a number.
As for the Tree, God seperated us from animals, on one simple fact.
Free will. Man, in his knowledge, has the power to choose, and control, the other animals, plants, to go into space, under the sea, and adapt to any enviroment that he comes across.
And, to that end....it was his choice, on the garden, to see if man was smart enough, to avoid temptation.
Nope. He blew it.
Here's the great quandery though:
What would have happened, is Adam didn't accept the food, that Eve offered?

1--Men are never right. It's always their fault. 90% of the divorces in America are because some man stands there and says, "She made me do it, because I couldn't keep my nuts under control".
2--God did not give those 2 enough brain cells to figure out the "big" picture in all this.
3--It's a really lousy story and does a very poor job of explaining anything. It's truly been "Lost in Translation".

I think god. Why would god put a tree of temptation in the middle of the garden of eden and create a creature like the snake to decieve Eve? That is just downright wrong. Since he allegedly all powerful and all knowing, basically god set it up so he could watch us suffer throughout ages.

I love apples...especially Fuji.
Eve was deceived by the serpeant. Adam allowed himself to be led astray by Eve, even though he knew better.
They're both culpable for the fall of man, but according to God's plan, Adam holds the greater responsibility. But it makes no difference; they both exercised free will and both set in motion the fall of Man.

It was Adam's fault. He was standing right next to Eve when she took the first bite. He could have, and should have, said something right then. But, I think he wanted to wait and see what happened to her. When nothing obvious happened, he took a bite too.
The tree was there very much on purpose. It was a test to see if Adam and Eve could and would obey fully. When we love someone, we obey them.

In the Garden of Eden,
As everyone knows,
Lives Adam and Eve,
Without any clothes.
In this garden,
Were two little leaves,
One covered Adam's,
One covered Eve's.
As the story goes on,
Never the less to say,
The wind came along,
And blew the leaves away.
At the sight,
Adam did stare,
There was Eve's treasure,
All covered with hair.
And wonder came,
Under Eve's eyes,
As Adam's thing,
Started to rise.
They found a spot,
That suited them best,
A nice big tree,
Where they began to rest.
Her legs spread wider,
And wider apart,
While thrill after thrill,
Came into her heart.
The head of Adam's thing,
Peeked into the hole,
And filled her with passion,
Beyond her control.
Backward and forward,
His thing did slide,
And Eve's treasure,
Was all wet inside.
The joy was good,
She wouldn't let loose,
Until Adam's thing,
Was all out of juice.
Then down through the years,
People did screw,
And now it is time,
For me and you.
So pull down your pants,
And lay in the grass,
Cause I'm in the mood,
For a piece of that ***

Look i was puzzeled many times with Adam & Eve theory
And i figured this.....
God said to them that i will put inside a paradise
You shall have everything but dont eat from this tree...its forbitten!
well i think God actually was asking humanity not to be greedy....
God gives us everything -each one in the right time and the right place....
But he asks us not to eat the apple of greedyness....
He asks us ot win the evil snake of our minds that is trying to
take the wrong way of behaving in a paradise's world......
We don't need so many things to become happy....
So....that was their fault my friend....that continues going generation after generation.
