I'll remove it remotely for you for $20 if you want. Otherwise could probably try running some scans with a few free programs but a lot of times software alone isn't enought to clean off a Virus. I know this because I work in the security industry and have seen numerous Anti-Virus's and Spyware programs fail including Norton and McAfee.
Try running, Ewido & Spybot..

You already have AVG, so just make sure the virus definitions are up-to-date - Then I would temporarily disable System Restore (if you are running Windows XP) - learn how to do this here - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/disabling_system_restore.html
Just to be sure you don't have other malware on your computer I recommend that you download SpyBot Search & Destroy and Adware - both are free spyware/adware detection and removal software. They can be found here http://www.malwaresolutions.com/tools_spyware.html
Next, start the computer in Safe Mode - (as the comptuer is starting up, keep tapping the F8 key on your keyboard until you see a special start-up menu) - more on how to start in Safe Mode here - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/how_to_start_in_safe_mode.html
Using AVG - run a full system virus scan while in Safe Mode
After the viruses have been detected and removed, run SpyBot and AdAware (full system scans) then restart the comptuer, enable System Restore again and enjoy a virus-free computing experience.
If the problems are still there, try using MSCONFIG to help figure out how to manually disable the Trojan from starting up - see more about MSCONFIG here - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/how_to_use_msconfig.html
Check out this page for more information on what viruses are - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/what_is_a_virus.html, and this page for how to remove them - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/how_to_remove_viruses.html
For those of you who don't have AVG Anti-Virus yet, go here - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/tools_anti_virus.html
One other thing you can do is to help prevent malware from getting on your machine is to use a more secure web browser (not Internet Explorer, get rid of AOL) such as Mozilla FireFox - http://www.malwaresolutions.com/tools_browsers.html
Good Luck!

If you have a trojan on your computer the download ewido. Do the set up instructions below the Link. Do not run it yet.
http://www.ewido.net/en/
When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
On the main screen, click on Update in the left menu, then click the Start Update button.
After the Update finishes, the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful".
-- If you have problems updating see here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/updates/
Once the updates are installed do the following:
Click on Scanner
Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
- Binder
- Crypter
- Archives
Go here an follow this procedure to set up your computer for the scan and removal procedure. I recommend you download and set up the programs and use them also.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/community/columns/bugbusting.mspx
Now that you have everything downloaded and ready to run, phsycally disconnect your internet connection. If you don't then it will live up to its name and download itself as you remove it.
Click on Start Scan and let Ewido scan the PC
When you run it the first time, you get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK.
While the scan is in progress, you will be prompted to 'Clean files', click OK.
Now run the other programs.

I've seen 'RemoveIT Pro' find things that other AV missed:
www.incodesolutions.com/removeit.php
'RemoveIT Pro XT2 - SE' is free for non-commercial use. (1mb download).
And here's something interesting. A portable (stand-alone), free antivirus application:
portableapps.com/apps/ut...clamwin_portable
It will run from a USB drive or CD, without installation. (6mb download).
If you're having trouble getting rid of a virus, you may find it helpful to:
1. turn off XP's 'System Restore' (Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>System Restore),
2. restart in 'Safe Mode' (press 'F8' like crazy during start-up),
and then run the antivirus.

hi, perhaps you can try norton to remove the virus and protect your PC. but you need to pay for that.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

Try going to www.lavasoft.com and downloading the free version of ad-aware. It is a solid anti-spyware program.(check out reviews if you are nervous)
Also don't forget to delete your temporary internet files on a regular basis.
