When a female is in heat and a male does the dirty deed. The female will scream from pain, because his penis is barbed. So I have heard.

I once had a dream that there was a cat in my yard. i beat it so that it could scat, and then it turned into a test-tube baby, and it was crying so shrill. wierd dream when i was 3 or 4

Yea,, it sounds terrible, but that's just two cats fighting. sounds like someone is removing there apendix w/o anethesia. that's how they sound when they fight. Got 4 cats, cats for 20 yrs.

They usually scream like that when they r doing it, believe me ive got a park round the back of my house and their is a new couple under my window nearly everyday!

Are you sure it was a cat.
If it sounded more like a human in pain than a cat in pain it may have been a fox.

cats that are mating or fighting sound like that, its an awful noise
but I tell you what's worse, raccoons! you've never heard such noise, they really scream and fight and make a bloody mess
