If you want a boyfriend, make sure that you like him and are willing to be in a serious commitment with him, or at least you feel you may be if you get to know him better, and won't break his heart. Below are some things that show ways to get a man by your side.
Steps
If you do not already know him, then introduce yourself. Let him know you are there! If he is interested in you enough to want to get to know you better himself, he will add in some conversation eventually.
Show interest in his life. What's his favorite sport? TV show?
Song? Movie? Find out and you will have something to talk about.
Make it easy for him to be friendly and talkative with you, but not overpowering.
Invite him to a party or event that you think both of you would enjoy together.
Be friendly with him alone until he makes it clear that he really likes you, and wants to be around you.
Just be yourself and let things unwind themselves.
At the end of the date, see if you really liked it or if you want to go on another or not.
Tell him that you had a nice time (e.g. "I had lots of fun. We should do this more again!").
Tips
If the person you like is shy, then be very gentle to him but admire him for his strengths. Few men can resist being told how manly they are unless the girl who tells them is one they are very uninterested in.
If you're looking for a rich boyfriend, you have to hang out in the right places. Your best chances are to go to a private school and hang out at the poshest clubs. Be stylish and wear expensive clothes to attract the right people.
If he gets your number, wait for him to text you. If he doesn’t text you, he's not interested. If you get his number, and he didn't get yours, text him (if you're interested). The most frustrating thing for a guy is when a girl has his number and he wants to make contact with the girl but can’t. However, be careful not to text or call him incessantly (i.e. phone him every spare moment he has). The guy will do the contacting depending on how interested he is. You just need to reply!
Look good! Make sure you're clean, free of acne and fashionably dressed. Don't go overboard on the makeup, though. Try to accentuate your best features.
Do not be afraid. If you feel you can go up to him without him bashing your heart against the wall (whether on purpose or not) and you notice his interest in you, then you are probably okay.
Don't become plastic (plastic surgery, all makeup, etc.). It will just make you ugly when it comes off, even if you were pretty to begin with.
Try to talk to your crush's friends, too.
Be nice, not fake. Just be yourself around him!

Do not use him. Guys may be bad about using girls, but they can still be weak around an irresistible girl even if they are not interested in her, which means breaking your heart and merely adding on his horrible guilt, or having a stalker who wants you for the wrong reasons. So do not parade yourself around boys too much, for both your own good and their own good.
This might not always work. It really depends on the guy.
If these steps don't work (which is extremely rare), he's obviously not your soulmate. Sorry!
Do NOT sleep with him too soon! If a guy gets what he wants physically before becoming emotionally attached to you, there is nothing to keep him interested once the newness of the sex wears off!!
