It doesn't. whynottaskdon is an ignoramous who can't stand the truth. I've pointed out to him hundreds of times that the Quran itself says, well, I'll just post the verses here for you.
[041:037] The night and the day, and the sun and the moon are among His signs. Do not bow before the sun, or before the moon. Rather, prostrate before Allah, the One Who created them, if it is He Whom you want to worship (exclusively)!
[002:189] They ask you about the (cyclical changes in the) moon. Say, “It serves as a calendar for mankind, and to mark the time for pilgrimage.” Piety is not (a ritual requiring) that you enter your home through its rear. Piety is to (know and) fear Allah. Enter your homes through its front door, and fear Allah. Perhaps, you would prosper!
[006:096] It is He Who causes dawn to break out (from the pitch dark night). He has created the night for resting, and He has created the sun and the moon as measures (for the passage of time). Such is the destiny appointed by the most Powerful and the most Aware.
[007:054] Your Lord, Allah, is certainly the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time. Then He mounted the throne (majestically). He wrapped the night over the day that follows it quickly. The sun, the moon and the stars have all been tamed by His command. Beware! The creation and the command (over it), belong to Him (exclusively). Exalted is He, the Sustainer of all the worlds.
[010:005] He made the sun bright; He made the moon lustrous and destined several stages for it, so you may count the years and have a calendar! Allah created all that with a supreme purpose! He expands the significance of His signs for any nation with understanding!
[021:033] And He is the One Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Each is afloat in its orbit.

whynotaskdon is an idiot, he doesn't know what he is talking abt. we all know that a pagan god 'al-lati' existed and pagans of that time used to worship it, But it has got Nothing to do with ALLAH The True GOD. but, don in his own freakin' mind, made a link b/w 2 separate entites, and think of himself as a genious (freaking idiota). he has got No authentic/verifyable proof of his claims, and he thinks he is a know-it-all guy. As being half-a-doctor is very dangerous for treating a patient, likewise, having half-research is very dangerous for publishing (esp. without Proper Proofs). Peace to All.

Add hadeeth to that.
Allah means a god. This is the case pre-islam and post islam.
wouldn't it be wierd that islam is so critical of the idols.. and then worship one.
Believe me i have seen people more apt at shaking my faith then whynotaskdon, he is not even like a mosquito bite.

Refer to my answer in your other question (or my reply to you).
Whynotaskdon is a false teacher trying to set himself up in a position of authority so that he can twist the teachings of Jesus and spread hate.
