I don't believe in affairs any time. I think that if someone wants to sleep with someone else then they should leave the person they are with because they obviously don't want to be with them.

Why get married if you are going to have an affair? The point of marriage is a sacred love between two people not to get married and cheat. The bible says do not commit adultrey.

Do I believe in them? Yes, I know the exist.
Do I believe that they are bad? Yes.

I hate it when people use the excuse that they couldn't imagine sleeping with one person for the rest of their lives. It really makes me gag on my own vomit. If someone REALLY believes that, why on earth did they get married? Obviously they are no mature enough to commitment to an adult relationship, especially since they aren't satisfied with their partner and probably has never TOLD said partner.

So does it exist? I know it does--look on tv, movies, newspaper, and next door. To deny that it exists is to deny that it breaks up marriages.

It IS bad and it hurts each party. On one hand you have the cheater who will always be a cheater, no matter how much s/he says that s/he will stop--the rush is too much to end. On the other end you have the victim, who once had trust in his spouse but now cannot trust anyone. Future relationships will be compromised because of his lack of trust.

Do I believe in them, NO. Do they happen unfortunately yes. I believe that if you are going to walk into marriage and make a promise to another person you should honor it. If you have doubts...don't do marry the person. Why hurt them? I think it is very selfish!

Sounds like you are considering one? Affairs usually involve some kind of intimacy issue, low-self esteem, revenge or poor boundaries.
