I was thinking about re-upping but I'm 40 and I think it's too late. I did three years in the Army '84-'87. I think my cut off was two years ago. Any advice?

I believe they changed the age limit agein to 45. Just go talk to a recruiter they can put you through the Warrior Transition Course to get you back up to date on everything.

The moved the enlistment age up, to 42 I think. Plus, whatever time you did active duty is subtracted from your age. So, the Army will consider you to be 37.

If a recruiter tells you no, get ahold of your congressman! It is always with out fail, who you know. Congressmen have a great deal of pull when it comes to matters of being a soldier.

yes you can join they did move the age limit to 42 and you do subtract your military experience from your age and that is your military age. so go ahead and get back in the game with us.
