there are lots of people who are pretty sure they aren't going to heaven, and like many of the people who are sure they will be in heaven, with close proximity to Jesus and God, I think they are in for a surprise.

Bamboozled,
"Isn't it funny that no one thinks there going to hell but think other people are?"
You haven't talked to the people I have.
"You will not find one person in the world who thinks there a bad person."
Yes, actually I have. And you are talking to one of them right now. I'm not BSing either.
"People either don't believe in it or believe there saved."
Some believe that they would rather go to Hell. Not many, but some are actually that stupid.
"So much for self-confidence."
No sir! Confidence in the word of the Lord. I tell about Him when it comes to salvation. I don't save S#!+.
"Also why do people think other people know there going to hell?"
The word of God says so. I believe it.

Alot of people tend to notice the faults and things that make that person different from themselves.
From my speculation, people exam others and their behaviors. The observe the cause and effect and learn from it. By pointing out the other person's faults, they feel they can prevent themselves from making the same mistake.
This is just an idea. Not an assumption of people. I personally notice other peoples actions and examine the cause and effects. No I won't judge a person based on this information. But I'll use what I saw as information to prevent something bad from happening, or causing the positive result to happen.
For Example:
I'm watching a peer play with a stove. My peer gets curious and touches the flame and gets hurt.
Based on what I saw I will know not to touch the stove.
It's a bad example but I feel that observing one's surroundings and everything going on around it is part of human nature.

well lets just say that is popular culture/humanity. I believe that no one knows who is going to hell or heaven because i believe god makes this decision. Even if a person is all round nice person but does everything insincerly then what right does that person have to tell you that u r going to hell. I think ppl think other ppl know they r going to hell is becuase they r ignorant n oblivious to be simple n good person. That's what i think anyway

I am a bad person..born into sin, saved only through the blood of Jesus. I point fingers at no one..God is the only judge..whatever it is that people believe or do not believe, that is between them and God..I have to make sure that I am ready to meet Him when the time comes..which could be any time, because no one is promised another tomorrow, another second or another breath.

How do you know the serial killer says to himself quietly that he knows he's destine for hell , if it does exist.
none of us know for sure there is a hell. But since most people are generally good or try to be and most aren't criminals and intentions are good, they obviously don't think they are going to hell- no matter what their belief system.
but most people can say definately that other people are worse and hopefully will go to hell.
Self righteous christians have a twisted way of believing where as --if people don't believe exactly how I do, they are destined for hell..
how nonsensical and pious is that?

I believe there is a chance for everyone to go to hell including myself. Its our conscience that either saves or sends us. But then I believe that hell isn't eternal, when you are done paying for your conscience you will probably come back again or something.

No muslim can tell you they are going to heaven. God will judge us according to our deeds. It is too often repeated in the quran .. "Those who believe AND are righteous". Furthermore, for precisely this reason we should fear our lord.
There is a hadeeth that i think tells a lot about our fate. It is something to the effect of:
If mankind were to know the wrath of god, no one would entertain hopes of making it to paradise and if mankind were to know the mercy of god, no one would lose hope of making it to paradise.
Furthermore, Satan makes our evil deeds 'small' and so we are decieved as he did with adam.
So the attitude we should take is fear the worst and hope for the best.

Like as an occasion, bill Gates is the main significant character and it relatively is revealed to him that the 1st hell he observed substitute into "merely the demo version". Regardless, you will have shortened the textual content textile of this one. .

I know I am not going to hell because 11 years ago I gave my life over to Christ and have been serving him every day. We don't all have to have the same religion or attend the same denominational church, but you have to be saved to get to heaven.

That's not true. There are a lot of people who feel unholy or cursed because of something that they have done, and it results in them feeling that they are going to go to hell.
