check out these websites; www.nexxus.com, www.phyto.com and www.renefurterer.com. i have very curly, very dry, huge hair. i have the same exact hair as slash from g n' r / vr. it's incredibly difficult to manage. i've tried EVERYTHING, believe me! these manufacturers are the BEST! i buy nexxus 'humectress' and 'keraphix' by the gallon. 'humectress' is a leave in conditioner and 'keraphix' is a deep conditioning reconstruct-er. 'keraphix' will make your hair silky. the best period, for making your hair silky is phyto '9'. they only make it in small tubes, though. rene furterer 'karite' butter is also very good. again, you can only buy it in small amounts. if your hair isn't very thick, it isn't a problem. these manufacturers have ALL kinds of excellent products for ALL kinds of different hair types. i'm POSITIVE you will find something that's just right for your hair with these suggestions.

Like Laurik who has mentioned above that there are shamppos that do the work, and also i would like to add is after shampooing conditon ure hair. There are some conditioners available in the market which can really help, just try them out depending on ure hair type.
Peace'
