Honey is pure sugar, and has the same effect on your body as regular table sugar. The one benefit you get is some added minerals and micro nutrients not found in processed sugar. Some people may be allergic to Honey due to cross pollination of certain plants,so those with ragweed allergies need to be cautious.Honey should be used very sparingly just like regular sugar and used in moderation. If your a diabetic or have insulin disorders it is best to avoid Honey all together due to its concentrated sugars.
