You mean during four years none of your professors ever got into what you could actually do with this major?
Can you still talk to your college advisers? Get in touch with one and see if they have any leads for jobs in this field. Does your school have a site or office where you can get job advice? Have you thought about going to a career counselor? Talk to others who have graduated with your major and see what they did with their lives. What are the people in your graduating class doing now?

Well, I would firstly go after whatever it is that you WANT to do with that degree. You could also go into musical direction, which is different than choral direction in that it deals with working with actors in musical theatre productions.

There is no reason that a degree should limit your job choices to things strictly in line with your major. It just means you would have to prove your abilities a bit more. You could just as easily be an entrepreneur or writer as anything else (except for maybe an astrophysicist...:-))

nicely, one ingredient my band director continually informed me is "in case you opt to finish, and also you're strong adequate, you receives jobs in protecting with expertise. no longer a level. in case you desire a guaranteed interest, you should pass track training." It is wise to me, that your expertise receives you overall performance jobs (as they're many times in protecting with audition.) yet, in case you do not get each and every overall performance interest, an training (or maybe composition/theory degree) would furnish you with a more beneficial positive probability for a interest. strong success to you.
