I would like to go forward in increments of 5 years, for about the next 40 years. (I cannot imagine being alive after 40 years from now!).
This would afford me the knowledge of knowing what will be happening then in terms of technology (which I love)
I could also find out where my 21 year old (now) son will be with his life.

I assume you mean in my life - if not a diferent place then it has to be here just at a dirferent time right?
Okay I want to goback in my own life to the time I was 8 yrs old - 1978 . I want to know all that I do now - I want to see the Canada that I grew up in as an adult not a child .
I want to change certain things though - should I ?What other events might I unleash?Better the devil you know they say - or is that true?
What is it that I want to change at so young an age?
Nothing big thats the thing I want to change very small things that turned into big ones
Now I get to go through the world but there is no place travel that is hard - then back to 1867 where the British North America Act was given to us by our Crown or maybe 1812 where our men fought and died to keep America out of Canada or the 1700's to watch the British talk for the first time with "red skins" -
Who knows after that ????

I would go back in time to the dawn of man days when we lived a hunter-gatherer existence...but I would choose the life of a solitary traveler, surviving by my own methods, living by my own set of rules. I will come across different groups of people from time to time, but only staying a while, until I get bored again, and then I move onwards again...no particular destination. I want to be completely free.
