When I tried to track my ancestry, I found that one of my GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT... (actually, I'm not so sure how many great there are) grandfather was from GREAT Britain. That's why now I'm kinda curious about it. My ancestor there was also a scientist... an alchemist or kind of that.

If I had the chance, I want to visit my distand homeland. I want to meet the true English Gentleman image there... where could I see that and experience it myself?

The "Great" in Great Britain doesn't mean "great" as in "fantastic" or "wonderful".

GB is made up of three countries: England, Scotland and Wales. Of these, England and Wales are techncially "Britain", because that's where the Britons come from. Add Scotland, and you have "Greater Britain" - i.e. "all the bits that make up Britain, not just the core bits".

You see the same usage locally too. Central London is quite small. Greater London includes all the suburbs and is massive.

If you want to meet true English gentlemen, you'll have to look quite hard. They exist, but they are hard to find and could crop up anywhere. Cambridge might be a good starting place, or anywhere in Surrey!
