Well, under the speculation that the astral realm is entirely artificial and only our higher thought forms allowed such manifestation.(So, it came after us) Is it perhaps possible that we are the result of another such phenomenon, on a "lower" plane of existance that as origins to, and spawned our level of existance, and therefor all others higher? Or what are your thoughts on us being manifestations, or the lower form's "projections" but with so effect of us having no memory and being a form of sleep, to wake up from?

The Astral planes are more like mental planes and are mirror images of what we believe in and the same places are there but we can get from one to another place just by imagining it.It is also very malleable as we can create new structures of our own design there .
But no they were created along with everything else we know when the physical Universe was created and souls entered it .
Yes we seem to develop mental amnesia when we incarnate in this realm.Whither that is of our choosing or a part of the fact that the first souls that entered this physical plane entered into the physical forms and became so engrossed with the sensations that they forgot where they came from and that they could leave them is up for debate.

Why would you begin with the speculation that the higher Astral realm isn't real? And then decide that a lower realm IS real?
It really doesn't make sense that we are projections of a lower realm and therefore we created the Astral realm. It DOES make sense if we are projections of a higher realm hanging out in a lower realm--spirits having a physical learning experience.
I think some "ghosts" and "demons" and such--the lower vibration ones--may be the projection of lower realms into ours.
