ok, here goes
first of all, we do speak out against terrorism. you dont listen
we scream out loud that AlQaeda members aren't considered Muslims at all. you dont listen.
we protest in the streets against terrorism in the US, Europe, south America, and the middle east. you dont see us.
we try to fight the lies of the media and bush on the internet every day. you dont pay attention.
there are 1000s of websites that explain Islam's view point towards terrorism and that explain what Jihad is. you dont search the.
we answer questions here ALL the time 24/7 you dont read our answers.
what else are we supposed to do to make you happy? i personally answered this very question more than a hundred times onhere.
you have to also understand that we should not be apologetic for any thing because the terrorists are not considered Muslims by Muslims.
did you apologize for black people because of the actions of the KKK? i think not.
turn off your TV and stop listening to the lying politicians and you give yourself chance to learn about Muslims and Islam. and you will know what we are all about.
and for your info. please read my question that i posted a few days ago.
the terrorists cells all over the middle east are being CRUSHED upon dicovery and the middle east suffered from terrorism way before you even know what a terrorist is. back when the US used to protect those terrorists and grant them political refugee and residency in the US and offers them protection and refuses to turn them in to the authorities.
i hope this answers your question.
peace.

We do. And not just American Muslims either. Famous religious leaders such as Amr Khaled are revolutionizing the way Islam is preached, especially towards youth. But a lot of the time, we speak out for what Islam really stands for, so that people will get the message that Muslim fanatics are just that: fanatics. If you're looking for large scale, thousands of people protesting in the streets, I doubt it'll happen, and if it does, if it'll even get media coverage besides a local blurb.

I don't know what American Muslims are saying, but I know that the media is not showing us many that are demonstrating or are outspoken against Islamo-fascism. What the media tends to show us are the Islamic groups that---after some horrible terrorist incident---say how everyone needs to be careful not to stereotype Muslims or to commit hate crimes against Muslims. Or they show the Muslims who say that terrorism is wrong, and then a few sentences later you realize they are referring also to "terrorism" by the U.S. and Israel. Now, again, whether this is representative is hard to know, but it is what you tend to see on the media.

what on earth do u mean? American Muslim or in fact muslim around the world speak out against terrorist. I'm a muslim n i speak out agianst terrorist of any religion becuase they are contributing to the cyle of hurt and pain that we as humans are subjected to suffer, isn't there enough suffering in the world, don't we all want war to stop n ppl be good n tolerant 2 each other? i can understand n relate as to why sometimes they feel that act of terrorism convey theessage that they want to say
i can certainly understand that but i symphatize those who suffer in the process n can't belive what type of ppl those who prompted this acts.If your country is invaded by other ppl who then kill ur own pl wouldn't u retaliate n kill them n do bad things to convey ur dissatifaction n dissapointment.islam is not a religion tat preaches the followers to become terrorist , that's waht in my opinion leads to speculation and ppl thinking tat muslim r terrorist fruther initaited by the media portayal instead islam teaches its followers peace, in fact when muslim great each other tehy don't greet each other with 'hey what's up' we greet each other with peace, in every race, every religion there's bound to be bad ppl who do bad things to convey n communicate thier opinion.

Also, as muslims we have nothing to do with islamic terrorist they do things that are not even ISLAMIC. I mean lok at bin laden he was kicked out of Saudi Arabia before his 9-11 plot bc of the way he acted there he was trying to take down the royal gov bc he thought they were getting to western. NOt a lot of people know this but its true. We do not suport these people & its sad bc they give us all a bad name but anyone with any education I think knows better.

Probably because they like being American and living an American life. Can you put yourself in their position? Most do not like being linked to those barbaric terrorists who live for jihad, but taking a stance against the terrorists at this moment is asking to be silenced, either through society or the government. People are scared and would rather not care for their fellow men, even when it comes close to home.

What American Muslims do you talk to? Most of my friends(Muslims) do speak out agaisnt it. They talk about how those terrorists are giving the entire race/religion a bad name, and how what they are doing isnt right. Maybe you are just assuming, or maybe you dont have many Muslim friends.

Do us all a prefer and STFU. you're loosing the argument. individually, i could evaluate you a terrorist. somebody advocating and preaching "death to united statesa." is terrorism with the aid of fact it rather is looking you to kill somebody or many. Freedom of speech stops while "death" turns into in touch with the help of regulation, you ******* fool. the place replaced into freedom of speech for Theo Van Gogh?
