YES! Seal the borders. We are diluting the American ethic and giving away to our enemies jobs that should be reserved for AMERICANS.
Pretty soon there will be NO PROTESTANT WORK ETHIC left. In fact, there won't be any Protestants: only Muslims, Jews, Catholics, etc.

All Americans were immigrants in our brief <300 years as a nation. So what is an American? Unless you are Native American, you are only the fourth or fifth (at most) generation of you immigrant forefathers. The issue is why the gov't allows so many illegal immigrants to come and stay here, why Americans won't work the jobs immigrants take, why NAFTA made the borders more unsecure, why Mexicans are not fighting for change in their own country, why Mexicans immigrants have a higher employment rate than many white Americans

I don't think anyone who has answered realized what America as we know it is. Who do you think was here first? I'm pretty sure the racist who answered first isn't part of the real America. Maybe that's just becasue we Americans are supposed to believe in equality for all, which, amazingly enough for the Chrsitians out there, includes, gasp! Other people too! Including Mexicans, Canadians, and really anyone who comes to America. I am NOT saying that we should let anyone in, or that we don't have a problem with our borders, but get real here. Forgetting the 4 of July? Not gonna ever happen. Losing jobs? Please, like your gonna be one of those guys who does the landscaping (just the honest truth on the jobs illegals take). Maybe if we stopped freaking out with our egotistical "We are better! You aren't American so you suck!" apporoach to other nations and people, we wouldn't be hated so much.

We have always had immigrants coming into America. You are probably the product of immigrants. I know I am.
But I am an American, my son is an American. I would like to believe that the people who come here want to be Americans, as will their children. We will always have Americans, they will just be different.

America is losing nothing when compared to the billions of people that live in other countries with about half the geographical land size. America is and will continue to be for a long time, a capitalistic and democratic country. Share your ideas with your foreign friends that come into your neighborhood. They should take heed and incorporate a little bit of Americana into their lives reciprocally.

What a good point you make. We are being invaded, overrun and overtaken by the mehhican government...this, by their funneling their loyalist into our nation. We must require all citizens, by birth or by naturalization....have absolute loyalty only to America. We will be a nation divided...by the deliberate design of the greedy who hope to gain from this division.
It is up to us, the people, the rednecks, the simple....good people at the grassroot level...to rescue our country.

No. America was formed by diversity---Remember history? Columbus came from somewhere in Europe...
There were already people living here...gee, could that have been the Indians that the Pilgrims had Thanksgiving with? Then the more immigrated to this country did they not slaughter the Indian way of life?
Wish we could stop worrying about immigration...we all bleed the same color.
And no I did not want points for this...I am just sick of hearing about the issue. It is getting old like me.

we are not losing the american, we where just standing down and waiting for the right time to stand up, nowthat we have the perfect ammo needed (mexcian illegal protest prades and such as in cali) we will now speak our mind, we will now tell it like it is, we will now unite once mroe like we did with 911.

Americans are losing big time.... jobs, wages, living costs, safety, respect, lives, neighborhoods, schools.....
Illegal aliens and foreign guest workers need to be deported starting immediately....
Put America to work....
