We've been together for over 3.5 years, and we got invited to a wedding for a friend of mine from HS. I haven't been super close to her, and he has never met her. What is the big deal, we go to a wedding?

Weddings make men nervous, because they think their girlfriend will start thinking about getting married.

Maybe he is worried that if you are there and see the wedding happening, you will start going on and on about getting married--and maybe he doesn't want to do that just yet.

May be he does not want you to have that idea of a wedding stuck on your mind, because he might have feel he's not ready for his own wedding. I could be wrong though. good enough, yes?

I don't know. I've been with my boyfriend for almost ten years, and he still won't go to weddings with me. He went to my mom's wedding. That's it. He just hates weddings.

Come to think of it...I hate weddings too.

Men just don't like weddings. It's not for them, too much of a hassle or commitment to thin kabout it. But this doesn't mean that they're not commited to you. My bf doesn't like weddings either, but he loves me enough to allow me to drag him to one last week.

It sounds like your relationship is in a bad state. If you can't get him to go then you should consider searching the personals for a new companion.

Maybe he had a homosexuall fling with the groom once, and does't want to get busted on that?

Why aren't you asking him? He won't know anyone there outside from you, so maybe it's best you go alone, then you can visit all you want.
