In today's world yes it is, but 11 million Mexican illegals are here are not trying to destroy America. The 911 hijackers entered the country legally even though some overstayed their visas. Tim McVeigh a domestic terrorist was an American. The US govt dropped the ball a long time ago with border security. Immigration laws on the books have to be enforced but there is no easy solution.

How many of the hijackers from 9/11 were born in this country?

Yes - it is a threat to national security. And something needs to be done about it, FAST!

Illegal immigration itself isn't a threat to us, but the fact that we don't know who is here (by definition, caused by illegal immigration) is a threat.

How can we say we don't have someone who wants to hurt us, when we don't even know who is here? Or, say that we are secure when we don't know who's here...?

Perhaps you are only thinking of illegal immigration from Mexico or other South American countries since they are attracting such attention.... but in fact, illegal immigrants are here from all over the world.

Illegal immigration includes not only people who cross the border illegally but also those who stay here beyond the expiration of their Visas and also those who come here for one reason and do something completely different. (out of status)

Yes - they are threat.

Somewhat...it is threatening our way of life, and our financial stability though...so in that sense yes it is. Aside do you think a terrorist is gonna try to get in the country legally? If anyone believes that than you are crazy...no look into the border states most wanted also...9 out 10 on them are illegal aliens so are they helping our crime situation either...no...is that a threat to security, just talk about personal security, yes it is.

Last time I checked illegal was illegal. Maybe next time I get pulled over for speeding I'll tell the cop "since law enforcement ignores illegal immigration all the time maybe you can ignore me doing 65 in that 20 school zone"

Yeah I didnt think so. its not a good standard to set that breaking laws is ok, just like its not ok to let iran think its ok to ignore UN resolutions. To argue otherwise is pure insanity, because illegal IS illegal.

Yes,there are many ways to bring down a nation, and the method that mexico is using is by sending many of their people to live here, use the US benefits like US citizens but stay loyal to mexico, and send the money back to mexico, meanwhile the government in mexico is overpopulating this country without having to provide one cent for social services for them,in other words,we are feeding their cows,so they can eat steak

So today, I go to the airport to pick up my son. Because he is mentally handicapped, I get a pass so I can meet him at the gate. It takes me over an hour to get through security.....

Yet we have thousands of illegals flooding our southern border every week..

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM POSE A POTENTIAL THREAT TO OUR NATION BECAUSE OF THEIR UNKNOWN STATUS.

We have a floodgate of potential terrorists swarming our nation. That is why we absolutely must deport them all, every single one. Build the wall...let none in without a stringent background check.

Anytime you have undocumented people in the country they can be a threat. You must know who is in your country.

smack- Your comment reeks of a conspiracy theorist.... I bet the US government was behind 9/11 right?
