My doc gave me metoprolol because my heart was beating to fast can i take Diphenhydramine as a sleep aid with the beta blocker?

yes. diphenhydramine is a type of drug like benadryl. it's an antihistamine but it can be taken as a sleep aid at night.it shouldnt have any kind of interaction with your metoprolol. check with your dr. though. if he prescribed both at the same time, there shouldn't be a problem, but i'd check just to be sure

Ask your pharmacist, not a bunch of strangers. R u nuts??? What is wrong with some people. Do you have a death wish or what?
And, no, don't ask your doc. A pharmacist know far more about drug interactions than your doc ever will, but the doc will never admit it.

No-but i once put Ex-Lax in my Viagra, so I could come and go at the same time.
