Though I'm an agnostic, I know a fair amount about all 3 religions I was raised Catholic, almost converted to Judaism and studied comparative religion, as part of my anthropology degree. Judaism gave rise to Christianity and both gave rise to Islam,
(Both Judaism and Islam regard Jesus as a prophet, though not a saviour, as Christians do). Muhammed had access to many other religions, via contact with traveling merchants and other cultures, as he was forming his new one. Still, all three religions believe that there is one, same god (monotheism).
Catholicism gives it a little tweak by saying that there is a "holy trinity", in which God, Jesus and the "holy spirit" are all one. I could never get my mind around THAT concept...and neither could many early Christians. Many sects split w/the that version, but are still considered Christians.
All this has very little to do with whether or not you eat pig! That's from the laws of Kosher (Kashrut), which is more a cultural thing, yet still tied to early Judaism. It arose partially out of health reasons in early days, but mainly because the Torah ordered it. 1
Since Christians tend to follow the New Testament more than the Old (the Torah), they would pay less attention to these laws.

I agree with you God will not change his words right?
In Judaism eating pig is forbidden, then in Christianity yes, then in Islam yes.
because Christianity is part (branch) of Judaism so the branch can't differed from the origin. In all this three religions eating pig is forbidden.

Islam is a stolen form of Judaism.
Just see the way pray, circumcision, ten commandments etc. etc.
This is the major reason for enmity between these two religions.
Christianity is a growth from Judaism. Means a difference from the early teachings to a more matured doctrines. Judaism applies physical orders and Christianity uses spiritual rules. So more carnal doctrines are abolished.

most of the "laws" about what you can and can't eat were put into the bible and the Koran (a collection of stories) for safety reasons... in the middle east long before the refrigerator was invented these "forbidden foods" would go off very quickly and cause illness and death. Judaism also has lots of rules about washing too. I don't know if these rules were the word of god or not but they were very sensible for the time and place!!

Is eating pork the issue? First of all the God of Christians and Jews is not the same as muslims. Then ,Jews are God's chosen people so they have distinctive rules that set them apart from the rest of the world. Christians is an overused term to say disciples of Christ , also known as gentiles( because not Jews by birth) therefore allowed to eat of almost everything God created
By giving our life to Christ we become also God's people.Lastly
Muslims don't eat pork because Mohammad didn't like it thus made it prohibited

Remember Christianity is a sect of Judaism. Meant to keep the words of Christ pure and unchanged until the Jewish people believe that Jesus was their true and promised Messiah.
AS many a Christian found out in the expansion of the United States PORK does not last long after the animal has been killed even if its been salt cured. And many died of food poisoning as a result thus the Prohibition while traveling long distances . the animal can be taken along but do not eat of it unless it is freshly killed and properly cooked.

All three religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam share the same god. They also share ABRAHAM. Christians are told by Jesus that they can eat pigs and that there is no sin therein. Jews and Muslims must follow strict rules when dealing with food - cosha or halal. Possibly the real reason behind cosha or halal has got more to do with the promotion of good health than mere religious ritual.

Well, as Jesus was Jewish, those Gods are the same, and as Muslims believe he was a profit, he can't be a telling fibs so his god must be the same as theirs, so yes they are all the same, or at least they profess to being.
odd that they all lay claim to similar ideals but can't stand each other, maybe tony Blair could come up with a 4th way ;)

is eating pig no prohibited in Christianity? there a lot of Gospel in Christianity, you should check each one of them to see whether God forbid Christians to eat pig or not. for me, personally Judaism and Christianity were from the same God, the one and Almighty, but the understandings of God's words were mistakenly understood. there is only one God but there are a lot of religions because of the misinterpretations of Him.

The world is weird and we can't always understand God, but I don't think you'll be damned for eating pork! Read the book of Matthew. There's something in there about why that is allowed.
