My older dog was a stud for an organization breeding dogs for the blind, the 1st few months I had him, he was on 'dates' more then he was at home. He was funny, when he heard the word date, he would get in the car and sit there with his head up and chest all puffed out. He knew where he was going and what he was going to do.

So, that year on Halloween, I brought him in for a date wearing a Superman costume every one laughed. He had many pictures take of him that day. He loved the attention. He was definitely playing the stud.

My husband goes all out on Halloween and it's always VERY scary. I dress the dogs (2) up and the little kids love it while the older ones like the way my hubby looks. That is the only time I dress them in clothes and they seem to enjoy it.

When I was a kid, our family dog would sometimes come home from the groomer with a season-friendly bandana on.....but that's about as far as I'd ever go as far as dressing a dog up (unless it was something to keep a shorter haired dog warm during winter walks).

My daughter has a little Yorkie and the only word for her is prissy. If my daughter is fixing her own hair and doesn't fix hers at the same time with bows it's time for the cold shoulder treatment. And if it's raining you can forget going outside unless she has her boots on.She lays in your lap and holds up one foot at a time to get them on.When it comes to playing dress-up this princess is a star.

I don't believe in dressing up dogs, or any animal in clothing or costumes. I believe there is an inherent dignity in animals and we need to honor that by not humiliating them by making them look foolish.

I think it's fun on halloween. Last halloween my dog was Spider-dog and I was the Black-Cat. Kids got a kick out of it

i think bandana's are swell for summer attire... in the winter, i strongly suggest a coat for walkings... tiny dogs bodies get very cold much quicker than ours.... i also have no objections to santa hats and halloween costumes!

My Shih-tzus wear little shirts when they go out for a walk in the morning because it helps to keep them clean. With the morning dew and their short little legs their chests get so dirty if I don't put something on them, but as soon as they come in from their walk I take it off of them.

My little girl tzu gets all excited when she sees me take out her shirt and she practically jumps into it herself.........hehehe

I think it sad.. I see ppl like that and they seem to have something lacking.. (this is the ppl I know) They walk around with a dog in ribbons in their fur so they can get attention
