I want to wish the family my heartfelt condolences and remind them that he died in an effort to teach us all about the beauties of the wild animals most people fear. We should all have such hearts of strength as Mr. Irwin.

I wanted to add that I believe this man is an ADHD wonder. He was always one to be in everything and took his hyperactivity to a positive advantage. We should use him as an example to our kids today that are hyper instead of putting them on drugs to "calm" them down and "sit still."

I like what you wrote. You've said so much in so few words. Thank you. I can't believe he's gone, either. Still.

Hey hunny, I know.. It makes it so real, as his funeral was today..
he is going to be burried at his zoo...
Your words are so touching..
I hope and pray for his family at this time.. =(..
If only there were more steve irwins in this world.
I believe the world is worse off without this great man..
I know little Bindi will carry on his great work.. It really breaks my heart to see the telly tributes to steve irwin, especially where bindi is asked.. Who do you want to be like when you grow up and she says " well me, personally, i want to be just like my daddy"!!
Those words have stuck with me..
Anyone wishing to donate should do so..

hi.. I in no way had the excitement to satisfy Steve myself.. yet I enjoyed his larkinism and he's have been given one in each and every of those proper form kin.. it is so unhappy for them.. As for the question you ask.. nicely.. for me.. unexpected deaths like woman Diana, Michael Huchens as an occasion continuously convey me lower back.. I even remember the precise element i replaced into doing when I heard the information.. and it nonetheless feels like a loss.. the comparable will choose for Steve Irwin, quite as I little question watch Bindi strengthen to grow to be an mind-blowing youthful woman and optimistically mom sooner or later herself.. and little Bob grow to be a genuine croc hunter himself while he grows up.. he already has Steve's cheeky grin.. to no longer overlook Terri, his american born spouse who has been definitely astounding in the time of the ordeal, dealt with it with close to proper grace i think.. So yeah.. remembering Steve will continuously sense somewhat unhappy.. and a tragic loss..

It is a shame. Such a brave man, I never even imagined he would die in such a way. He will always be the best animal guy.

Do you really think he would want us all whinging about poor him and what a horrible event for weeks? He'd be much happier if half the people leaving floral tributes at the zoo spent their $20 donating to a conservation fund. If you care so much, then show it in a way that really honors who he was and what he stood for

I agree. His loss definitely made me feel sad. For the family I wonder if it made it 'easier' since they knew the risks he was taking...much like families of police officers, etc that understand their loved one might not come home tonight...my condolences as well.

Me. I feel for his family. He was such an awsome person and you couldn't help learning about nature and appreciating it more because of him. He'll be missed.

Damn shame! But, think of all the children he's inspired. One of them will surely be the next crocodile hunter!
