I've dated for many years and have always been very non-commital. Today I've been seeing someone on and off for several months and we were supposed to go out tonight. When I got to her home she wasn't there. She totally stood me up. I started to think about this situation and this has happened to me a few other times with other woman that I've dated non-commitally for several months. Why? What are these woman thinking? Why do they want to cause this kind of drama? Do they want more commitment? Do they want to end the relationship?

Regardless if they didn't like your "non-committal" attitude or want more in a relationship which is what it probably is they could still use decency in letting you know they don't want to date you anymore instead of standing you up. How can these women even bring someone out of that way of thinking if they caring or understanding individuals. There's nothing wrong with not wanting a commitment but make sure these women know that in the beginning. Months of dating to me is just dating and that's what dating should be. Dating doesn't mean commitment and if they don't understand that your better off.

your statement of do we want more commitment, well of course. After all, it has been several months right? So after a few months of your non-commitalling around, one will wonder else where as they say. So you have picked females that want more then you and unless you do give more of a commitment, they will continue to "forget" the date with you.

think, did u in any way give them the wrong ideas that u are not commited to go on with the relationship? also most relationships stay as the couples feel secure, reliable to each other and also trust. does the girl feel these while dating with u? u get your answers.

woman can tell if a guy is committed to them or not. And it sounds like you gave them all the impression that you were not committed to any of them. With this knowledge they moved on to another guy or maybe they went out with their friends to spread the word even wider about you. Who knows.

They are getting back at you for your non committal. it has happend to me in that same type of thing. I would make plans, call them off , if something better came up. after doing that for a few months, the women give up on me..I dont blame them. I deserve it.

until you find out what her problem was for standing you up it is hard to say. if you have her cell number phone her to see what went wrong. if she has no excuse it is safe to say that she is taking advantage of you. you sound like an easy going person whom women take advantage of. good luck to you
