Well let's see, shall we?
Why do you want to wear a mini-skirt?
1) To make boys "anxious"?
2) To show off your cute figure?
3) To give "easy access"
if either of these reasons, I'm afraid the anser is NO!
What is a 12 year old girl asking a question like this for, anyway, or for that matter what is a 12 year old girl doing with a miniskirt? You're much too young to be trying to out-sex the other girls - what are you trying to do, become the youngest unwed mother in your peer group? Because if you're really 12 and planning to wear miniskirts I'd say that's where you're headed.
PS, I"ve never understood pedophiles - what is it that's "sexy" about girls that young anyway? Who would be sick enough to even think of them that way. Well, I guess if they're wearing miniskirts, particularly if they're "mature for their age", that might explain part of it but somehow I just can't see it!

well it depends on why you want to wear one really! and personally i have a 14 yrs old neice and she is a cute girl and the boys all think so too! she asked her mom if she could have a mini skirt and her mom said no! so she asked me to talk her mom into it! and i told her that i did not think it was a good idea for her to wear one! and i suggested she wear a skort instead because while it looks similer to a mini skirt it has shorts sewn' into it! and the lenghths are a bit longer than the traditional mini! her mom agreed to this solution and she wears it! and she is still modestly dressed and does not look to sexy for her age! so in answer to your question no 12 is way too young for a mini skirt! try a modest lentgh skort instead! by the way when i was 20 i bought a mini skirt and i was wearing it and my mom flipped out! and i looked hot! and was an adult! but she asked me not to wear it anymore and so i did not! how do your parents feel about this issue?

I'd wait 'til the girl is a couple yrs. older - Christian or not! Too many parents let their daughters dress like hookers nowadays. Also, the girl should think what "message" she's sending to those around her. I wore mini-skirts, but it was the '60's and it meant social rebellian, mostly, not trying to lure 18-year-old guys into the back seat of a car! (We didn't need mini-skirts for that...)
Also, if you're heavy? GIve the minis a pass! Long skirts can be very alluring!

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:9-10," I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."
Be careful, because the kind of clothing you wear reflects who you are and what you believe. Also, you should want to be sensitive to others, and if what you are wearing is causing others to sin by having the wrong thoughts about you, then you need to think about whether you are projecting the right image to the world. There are plenty of cute things a girl your age can wear that are modest and appropriate.

Just think about the message you are sending when you do wear revealing clothing. If you flaunt yourself and cause others to think lustful thoughts (even though they might anyway!) its probably not a good idea. But if you are covered up enough to just be stylish, I don't think there is any problem with it. Be consious of your motives and picture yourself showing the outfit to people you respect: your parents, people at church, family friends, (this is cheesy) even if you were in Jesus's presence! If you feel comfortable after that, then go right ahead! Remember your body is a wonderful vessel that God gave you, so never be ashamed of it. Hope this helped!

This is more an issue of what is appropriate for a 12 year old child rather than a religious one. Short skirts send messages you may not be prepared to deal with at such a young age. Hold off for a few years, you have got plenty of time.

as far as being a christian , in my opinion its not wrong
But.....
you are only 12 and the clothes u wear makes men think nasty thoughts and could get u in a whole lotta trouble that your not asking for but they will claim u are.
im telling u this from experience
as for being only 12 you are definately not ready for the consequenses that wearing mini skirts can have

It might not be a good idea because it attracts the boys, and then they only think about one thing, and its not your Christian values. It's up to you, but the more skin you show, the worse the outcome. sorry
