To tire her out before training her, I ride my bike while she is on a leash, and hold the leash tight enough that she wont pull. I have heard that working breeds love this, but is it okay to make her run at that speed(not full speed, but running) for the whole walk?

The walk is 15-25 minutes, and she's a sweet dog

Road work of 2 miles per day is good for a large dog..but it should be part trotting, walking and running.. If you stop and give her a walking breather, she will be much safer..If she is too tired, she cannot protect her hips, as her muscles get too tired, and Rotties need to really protect their hips...think about how you move when you are good and tired..kinda drag your feet, and stumble more...that is the time when she can't move in proper balance to protect her hips..
Be sure she gets a drink when she gets home, but only allow a cup or so at a time, as she can colic or bloat (deadly torsion) if allowed to drink her fill all at once..

Be sensible about how tired the dog gets, of course, but people ride bikes with running dogs frequently. Most have a special bike leash that attaches so you don't have to hold on and it's metal that seems to keep the dog from getting too close to the bike. I see a cyclist go by with a boxer, frequently. The dog appears to be having a good time. (And I trained my dog in order to tire her out. Brain power is more wearing, I'm told!)

Make the call by watching you dog. Also you should be able to tell if she is enjoying it. My dog goes crazy when I ask him if he wants a walk. Remember dogs do not sweat so they can get heat exhausting easy. Exercise is good for dogs but over doing it can take a toll on them

NOOOOOOO

You should walk with your dog. You should never ride anything and let the dog run along side. The speeds are different. Don't abuse the poor thing.

WHAT breed dog is she?? That is the most important thing to know. HOW long do you run her? One would have to know those two facts in order to give you an answer to your question.

Well, what kind of dog is she? Because it woould not be right if it was like a chiuaua or shitzu (toy breeds). If its a much bigger dog, then i think it would be OK. Just offer water between breaks, and watch how tired out she is.

It depends on how long of a walk we're talking about. Be careful not to exhaust her. Talk to your vet about how to properly exercise your dog.

That works for my pup. You don't want her hyper or she won't listen to you.
