It's far worse than that. Now trucks from Mexico are allowed to be driven into the US with no inspection, no insurance, no license regardless of their condition. We have to get our vehicles inspected and abide by EPA rules and law yet trucks with no mufflers are allowed to pollute our country. As if the 50 illegals, drugs, and maybe even WMD's crammed in the back weren't bad enough.

An international drivers license does not give them the right to drive here. Legal status and a valid (state or international) drivers license is a different story.

I base my response on the presumption you ask about humans.
Kind of. The International Drivers License is only valid with a legal drivers license from the country of origin.
They must have a licensed, registered and insured vehicle to comply with the state driver's license bureau's requirement.
Proof of citizenship or legal residency or even a visa is not required by most states.

it is better that you just drive and not worry about it. if you're illegal, you're illegal. And if you're here already just go ahead and keep on taking your chances. If you get pulled over, well, you get pulled over. But good luck.
